Accountant

Requirements for the candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Special licences or certifications may be required.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
  • Understanding of mathematics and accounting, and financial processes.
  • Ethical behaviour. Attention to detail.
Functional duties:
  • Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
  • Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data.
  • Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • Computing taxes.
  • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
  • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

Tax Advisor

Requirements for the candidate:
  • 2+ years experience in Financial or Tax Advising, preferably within a fast-paced and ever-changing start-up environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex details clearly to many different teams.
  • The ability to operate complex database systems. Outstanding attention to detail.

  • A solid understanding of bookkeeping competencies with the ability to stay confidential.
 
Functional duties:
  • Prepare for tax payments and tax data collection.
  • Update the company’s tax database.
  • Work with the Senior Tax Manager and external advisors to determine future tax requirements and take the required measures.
  • Work with and negotiate with tax authorities. Inspect and identify areas where the business can reduce tax, make claims and increase profits.
  • Offer support and guidance during audits.
  • Prepare for our monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting income tax provision and related financial statement disclosures.
  • Prepare and present reports to executive management on tax matters.
  • Implement, maintain and document appropriate internal controls over the tax function.
